My combination of craft experience, legislative knowledge, and heritage education makes me perfectly tailored to serve both you and your building’s needs and bring your heritage project to life
- My archaeological background has given me the analytical skills required to read historic buildings and their nuances
- My MA in Conservation Studies has equipped me with the legislative know-how to restore heritage buildings to a state that accommodates a modern lifestyle while maintaining authenticity, heritage value, and longevity
- My practical experience has given me the skills and know-how to conduct minimal, sympathetic intervention and to discuss works with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders effectively
- I prioritise working with clients collaboratively to create and execute schemes of work that are sensitive to the heritage aspects of their building, while remaining uniquely tailored to the needs of the individual
- As an Affiliate of the IHBC, I have the requisite attitude and understanding of heritage legislation required to produce appropriate schemes for heritage buildings, congruent with local and national legislation, and with the requirements of heritage building owners
